Keep in mind we are a local company.

Given your cirumstances, I would most likley hire you if there was more than one postion open and I needed drivers right then. But if there was only one spot open I would more than likley skip over you, and get a driver without your drug history.

I was looking at Melton the other day. Seems to me, DUI or DWI must be at least 5 years old, and felony must be 7 years old. But, that was felony, not anything to do with drugs or firearms. You've really narrowed down the field for yourself. If you do find someone to take you on, you'll be sucking hind tit for some years to come, because you'll have few to no options, and they'll know it.

I know some Class A tow drivers pulling in 1200-1500 per week; (which is good money in my area). You might want to consider going and towing rigs for a while, In Cali I am almost positive you would make more than that if you got with a good company. I would check around your area for Class A towing companies, see if they would let you have a job after you got your Class A/

Just a thought
I agree with this. Since you have tow truck experience, that could help you get your foot in the door and get you some class A experience, as well as some distance between you and the convictions. Also, OTR isn't all it's cracked up to be (to me, at least). Weigh your options carefully (time out versus home time, income level, benefits, etc.) before you make a big move.
