Don't know the name of the third one there. Next exit has Nevada Landing and Gold Strike. (Two more hotels with casinos.) But, I believe every one of them has truck parking.
he going to Mesquite, NV. Thats on the Northern end of the 15 near the 20 mile stretch of AZ just before St. George, UT. Your referring to State Line, NV on the border with CA. The 2 casinos there are Whiskey Petes and Buffalo Bills. Nevada Landing is gone, they tore that down maybe 2 years ago and Gold Strike has a T/S there. The casinos in Mesquite are Virgin River and something else that I cant remember right now.

The trip is finally in the books and not a moment too soon. Actual pick up was in a dinky town called Beaver Dam in AZ. Got there early enough to load the tractor friday night, but by the time I was able to look into a room it was about 7:30pm and everywhere I called was full. I started to get a little nervous that I wasn't going to find anything after calling 6 or 7 places, and only had about 15 or 30 minutes of drive time available so going to Vegas wasn't an option. Finally I called Virgin River Casino and they said their rooms at the casino were full, but they had some rooms on their overflow property called the Oasis. I didn't really know what she meant by overflow but went ahead and got a room. Then I had to go to the Casablanca casino to pick up room keys, it seemed a little odd, but I was about out of options.

As some my know (and I quickly learned) the Oasis Casino went out of business, and now Virgin River and Casablanca uses the Oasis property for extra rooms. From the first moment I walked into the building it was apparent that they don't put much into the up keep of the property at all. The room was relatively clean, but had kind of a funky smell. No cold water from faucet, no ice from ice machines, and a/c sounded like a 747 getting ready for take off. By the time morning came around it felt like I had taken a nap and I checked out and got out of town. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone except if its your only option.

Long trip back home, but except for the motel mess, it was a decent trip. Most of it seemed like a grand tour through the middle of nowhere, but on the other hand I really enjoyed the 70 and 75 mph speed limits:thumbsup: It makes the 1200 mile trip go by a little quicker.
