i recently attended roadmaster driving school in jacksonville, fl. i was two weeks into my training when i was pulled over for marijuana. it wasnt mine but i was the driver of the car. i recieved a ticket to appear in court. i went, i plead no contest not knowing that roadmaster would stop my training because pleading no contest would lessin the chances of them finding me a job. and because the charge is so recent. i have my class a permit and dot physical. they gave me my 1,500 down payment back. i could continue with them if i find my own pre-hire or come up with the rest of the tuition. what places could i try to pre-hire me? or can anybody lead me in the right direction with my background? im 25, i had a rough start and need some guidance to better my future. truck driving is what i wanna do as a career. plz help!!
CRIMINAL BACKGROUND possession marijuana - 2004 resissting officer w/o violence - 2008 possession marijuana - 2011 DRIVING HISTORY license suspension - 2008 for a month failure to obey steady red indication - 2008 unlawful speed - 2008 74/65 Seriously. Right now truck driving isnt really for you. You might be able to find some outlaw company to hire you. But they are going to know they are your only option, so they will pay you poorly, and make you do **** like run illegal. Stay clean, dont break anymore laws...and come back out here 10 years after your last probation date, and maybe I can find something for you.

I'm not sure just how real or wide-spread it is. I talked to an O'/P about a year and a half ago that said after Jan 1 of this year, the insurance company would not allow him to drive one of his own trucks. 2 DUIs something like 18 years earlier. Buying a truck and getting your own authority is fine, but you still have to convince an insurance company to cover you. They seem to be getting a bit picky lately. Five years ago, it was 3 years after a DUI. Then, it was seven. What is it today? Ten years? Or no DUI ever? And, if you do have a DUI, what's your coverage going to cost you?
