Further info: If you think you are gelling up in the reefer, talk the shop guy into letting you pull into the repair bay at the truckstop. It's WARM in there. I had to open my back doors to let the warm air in! Then, they forced air through my reefer tank to clear the lines, added the Howes, and I was back in business! I will forever be thankful to the guys at the Petro in Rawlins, WY. [I THINK that's the place.... been a long time. No.... that's not right. Rawlins only has the T/A. Anyways.... anyone who's BEEN there knows where the Petro is that I'm talking about.]

I don't reckon I ever had diesel fuel gel up. Guess it don't get cold enough here. I've never heard of using Alcohol for anti-gel. It's interesting how I always hear how things work for things, but you don't hear of it much anymore.
Seems like Alcohol would burn up a diesel motor. Guess not.Gas will, or make it lock up? Maybe I could get some rubbing Alcohol in my pickup. Make it run faster, like the hotrods.

There was Rip's over by the state pen:smokin:, and Flying J, I think, on the west side of town.

Don't usually travel to cold areas. I am an RV'r with a 450 cummins Dodge truck. Concerned about keeping tank clean and would like to know recommended cleaner. Someone recommended PS Diesel Kleen + Cetane Boost. Going on a 6000 mile trip and also would like to know if a cleaner should be added periodically? (I'm a 6 year owner of my truck, but have yet to go on a trip this long and knew you guys would be the best people to ck in with). Thanks
