Wow Kev.....
Can't believe that you would actually do that to a fellow driver. When all of the fun and charades are aside (as on the board here) I take our profession very seriously as do most of us here. That type of mischief is what leads to accidents/injury and.....yes even death. As a local running at night, one thing that I will 100% do is take the time to get an OTR to his destination. Sheeeeeit.....if they happen to be a lost CRST, I have even turned around and led them to the Indy 86th Street terminal as I know that they might well be a newbie driver. Regroup Kev! Ya kind of stunned me with that. Double R! Back to you brother. I was on I-70 last Friday and passed this future millionaire. I thought that you might want to look in to this as a possible lease/purchase option! ![]() No thanks. That truck has no back window. I like my back window. Makes it easier to BLIND SIDE

Oh...and another thing...say you dont know where you're going, and you DO ask for directions from a 'local', and the 'local' makes a mistake, and you happen to go down a road you shouldn't be going down, and you happen to knock over a telephone pole or something. You going to give the police officer the excuse, "well you see officer, i got these directions from another driver, and he told me to go down this road...." The cop will just laugh at you.
YOU the driver are responsible for your actions and the direction you take YOUR truck. There a problem with knowing where you're going before you start rolling in the truck? If you dont know, you shouldn't be moving it. Why is that such a problem??

Hell Kev.......if you really are going to be here let's go racing! Golfhobo has been invited and is pending......... Let's do it! Nothing like an OTR BBR and a LOCAL BBR painting Crawfordsville Rd./16th Street on Memorial Day. Hell........we can even get on the radio and tell the Indy drivers to turn.......................right:lol:

I just love when i'm crusin' down the interstate, and some driver gets on and asks, "...say, anyone know how to get to that Procter and Gamble plant on 84th?" and i give him stupid directions like "after you take exit (whatever exit i just passed) 112, turn right, go 3 stop lights and take a left, its right there.." or tell him simply, "yeah, its on 84th".
if you dont know exactly where you're going before you roll in your truck, then you've got no business rolling. If i got a question about directions...i had better take the next rest area, or roll into the nearest truck stop. Dont delete my post Rev I used the smiley thing to take the edge off. Even though its true!

Dunno where i'll park yet, will see if i cant get a deal to park my tractor at that mechanic, though he'll probably charge me $100, but its like 1/8 mile from T1. I'm getting my tickets this next week. i've got an extra....i always get two, invite someone, then they back out the week before. Thinking of sitting in T3 or spending the $$$$ for a Vista Deck seat. =) Last edited by Kevin0915; 04-05-2009 at 03:33 AM.

Goes back to the first quote. The one I agree with. Now let's see if you got the point yet:USE COMMON SENSE! Doesn't matter what technology you have available to do the job. COMMON SENSE is your best technology .And this BS about "don't move the truck until you know where your going". Doesn't fly. If you at least know the general area of the customer, you can get close and THEN start asking or getting directions. Been there, done that. Last edited by Double R; 04-05-2009 at 03:08 AM.

I give up. What a b1tchy little gurly boy you are. You have no respect for anyone or anything. How do you know the driver in question hasnt already checked his maps and gps and is just confirming with local drivers who know best how to get in there? Theres more than one way to find something and some of us dont get all scared of everything little thing. You're such a scared little poosy about everything and anything I cant believe you got the balls to drive the big scary truck!:rofl::rofl:
