it is a tuff time to get hired on by a company,but not impossible.... just today we had a driver run over a trailer jack stand and bust open the oil pan.... fired..... theres a opening right there. theres still plenty of drivers who quit there job because they think theres better out there, so keep lookn opening will still pop up

Default I found a story with some truth to it!

The headline is certainly true: "Demand for truckers is down even as enrollment at driving schools is up"

The statistics are certainly . . statistics: "A research report released last week by an analyst from KeyBanc Capital Markets indicates that trucking companies' demand has fallen by as much as 20 percent since November, which will lead to smaller profits."

Just once I would like to see: "Whether or not you actually get a job, let alone the job you want, you'll still owe the tuition. Thanks for applying!"

And the sadder thing is that many of these applicants also have college underneath them.

It just goes to show that everyone's going to have to be picky about everything from now on.

I don't think anyone has anything to worry about the schools being full.

Always remember. Anyone can learn to drive a truck.

Only a few of those will stay to be truck drivers.

:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

I could see that happening.
When these former, white-collars and whatnot are recalled back to their old positions, they'll most likely drop it in a heartbeat.
Then of course, when it comes time to renew the med-cards, they'll most likely let those lapse as well.
