DAC/USIS and a company that goes under .

One last point on this ( I hope ).
![]() When you do request verification do so in writing and send return receipt requested. This way you have proof of it being delivered and on what date. On day 31 get a copy of DAC again or call about status. If they say it is verified ask for copy of verification. This is not just a phone call on DAC's part. There is a form that must be filled out with date, time and person who verified. Many times a company that is still in business will balk at verifying something if there is a slight chance it may be reported wrong. If they say it has not been verified then remind them NICELY that they are required by law to delete the entry until such time it is verified.( The 30 days has passed ). I did not provide this information to help the bad drivers get a "free ride" but I would rather see 10 "get by" than see one good man/woman lose all they have worked for because of one pissed off terminal manager out for revenge.

Short answer..... YES!!! The arrest would be verified by the arrest/criminal record. If the drug screen was only done by the company and can't be verified then by law DAC must remove it from your record. Will this "loop-hole" be abused???? I'm sure some will. But it does give the little guy the resources to clear his record if it is wrong.

This is sure good news for me!!
Since the company I drove for is now out of business, then if I dispute the information on my DAC report, the drug test that I flunked after being arrested for the drunken rampage that I went on in the company truck that I was driving will be removed from my record!!
