towards it besides driving a forklift I am going to be 19 soon and really wanna start driving since I have only my intrastate cdl till I turn 21 I'm kinda limited to my options but would love some feedback on any company that will hire me right when IM 21 since I will already of had my cdl for three years considering I do pull the spotter around the yard I work at. Your 2 years away from a "local" company hiring you....4 years away from an "Interstate" Carrier hiring you.
Go to school and learn a trade.

Naaaaa....Move to Farmington NM or Denver CO and work in the oilfields. Their gonna be the last place standing when oil companies crash jobs...like they did in 1982.

Sounds like you got a good head on your shoulders.
With the economy going south, I would try to get into college, get your degree. It would take about as much time for you to land yourself a good trucking job, as it would getting a degree. Just my opinion of course. Good luck!
