I got my CDL at 18 too. I was working for a paving company running a shovel. I used their trucks to take the CDL test in and they put me to work driving a 10wheeler dump. Then after about 8 months of that they let me drive the lowboy every now and then. Try paving or excavating company's. But right now is kinda the bad time of year for that.

Ya I just got a job hauling juices for Tropicana no semi yet but driving a 24ft straight truck
