Of course, I'm home every night, but I carry a set of Standard wrenches. A pair of pliers, and yes, I keep them in the leather pouch. I also have a pair of channel locks.

Other tools. I carry a small bottle of contact solution, contact holder thingamajig. An extra pair of glasses, in case my contacts bother me.
Tylanol, etc...

No one mentioned a multi purpose tool like a Leatherman or Swiss Army knife?

A Swiss army knife...A RON POPEIL pocket fisherman ...case of gorilla tape, And some oxy-clean.

Just take the passenger seat out and put in a kitchen island. Store stuff in shelves below.

my buddy was just showing me the tool kits handed out to all the new SWIFTies during his orientation:
