How intimidating is it driving in the city?

Most of my OTR driving has been in the 11 Western. LA, Phoenix, Seattle, Portland, Oakland and Las Vegas cover most of the "cities" and while some seem easier than others I think it has to do with where you've spent the most time. If you know the freeways it helps a lot getting close to your destination. I disagree that as an OTR driver you'll only see these freeways, I've been in old, old neighborhoods in every city making deliveries.
Knowing how your trailer is going to take a corner, meaning how it tracks with the tandems set is pretty important. Sometimes you have to go half way around a corner and wait while others figure out they will need to back up. As long as you go slow and stop before you hit something it all works. Sometimes you can only enter a plant from a certain direction and you must go around a few blocks and come in from the opposite direction, and it can be frustrating. Leaving Compton at rush hour heading North can take hours to get to Wheeler Ridge, I mean 5 or 6 hours.....but S&%@ happens. Once in a while you may even find the grapvine closed do to snow....rare but it does happen. I love driving.

Its all about the $$$$ here...whether your driving for a living, or driving for "LOTTO".
