Can you give us a link to a newspaper story about the incident?

Chizek's Website doesn't mention anything about shutting down. Trucking companies shutting down due to fuel costs does concern me, but I'm even more concerned about the "NEXT PHASE". Farmers will not be able to afford to work their fields because of the cost of fuel, and they DO NOT GET A FUEL SURCHARGE. As they go bankrupt, and farms go idle, we're going to see even more problems. I'd think the government would quickly step in and bail farmers out although it would likely be geared toward the bigger farming operations.

Parking space is always available for me.
I just stick my magnetic "Swift Student Driver" signs on my doors, go to the end of the row nearest the building, turn on the four-ways and start backing up. At least two or three trucks ALWAYS pull out.

I have also noticed more available parking spaces, and I think it is due to the high cost of fuel. Owner Ops are hurting, and some are going out of business, thus the extra spaces.
Something HAS to be done about the high cost of fuel, and SOON! We all will pay the price for it in the goods we all have to buy. I have also seen Chizek trucks on the road! I suspect that some smaller companies will go under if the cost of fuel doesn't come down.
