Their computer won't allow the points or the ticket to show up on your record until the transaction is complete and without cashing the ticket it will not be completed.

Like I say, don't know if it is true but if you do decide to pay it, won't hurt anything to try!!!
Ive heard this before, also...never figured it to be true...so lets squelch it. Here is the snopes link regarding that.

Regarding the speeding ticket...I believe since that is more than 15over the limit 63 in a 45. Thats also one on the few CDL no nos'...2 of these CDL No nos' in 3yrs will get you a 60 day suspension Check the link:

This is the legal service plan I belong to...Jim Klepper is the owner, this is well known in the industry. Since you are not a member, you can still use the service, however there will be a much higher fee for the use. This is a citation you MUST have taken to court and have it talked down to a lessor offense, either a non moving violation or get the speed less than 15 over.

It may be worth a few hundred bucks to keep it off your record, which could very well lead to your continued employment...of course the best way to fight a ticket is to not get one in the first place.

o.k. well
i talked to a lawyer that specializes in this type of thing.
600 bucks and he'll either get it dismissed or get it reduced to a non moving violation. ethically he cant make any guarantees, but he has a 90+% success rate.

signed,
Not Guilty

Speeding tickets are a racket...like a kind of Gov't local Mafia.

Usually if you pay them double the fine all records of the incident will

magically vanish.

Example...Passing on the right shoulder in state 'X'

350.00 dollars...

to 'make it disappear forever' from your records .... $ 700.00

Case closed... have a safe day driver

Court did not enter into the picture.

I asked was there a 'way out' of this situation...

Maybe a little different if you go busting through a slow town at light speed

Be careful in Mo.

I was left with the impression that if you are an OTR driver

and may not be able

to make a court date...

that they will 'work with you' whatever the case in

order to keep things rolling.

The pisser was that I was saving for a new Les Paul and things sort of got delayed for a while...

Its nothing new...me and my brother got nailed as youngsters on a dirt road in Ga and paid the fine on the spot in order to avoid court hassles.

Look at the bright side...these fellows are keeping the world safe...

and thats what matters in the end.
