Shouldn't there be an * by Sweat Pants?? I thought that was an honor that had to be earned by veteran drivers weighing over 300 lbs!!

lol
![]() The sweatpants could come in handy. Stopping at a Walmart sounds like a better idea to resupply rather than stockpiling too much at a time.

Used to also be that the "normal" dress for OTR drivers was cowboy boots, jeans, and a button down shirt. Now it is sweat pants two sizes to small and t-shirts with stains. No more taking pride in what you look like, just throw some clothes on and go. Double R remembers when drivers dressed decent and looked professinal(back when I was a kid in the 80's )

I'm trying to formulate a basic travel plan to get an idea of what I can take with me while on the road and space for storing the following items inside the cab: -Changes of clothing for each climate condition. (freezing, hot, rainy,) -2 weeks worth of food: 5 jars of peanut butter/jelly,25 cans of black beans, green tea bags, 28 oranges,28 apples,8 bags of lettuce,28 tomatoes, tortilla wraps, microwave, water jugs (for coffee and green tea),method to clean things. -exercise gear (running shoes, clothing for exercise) For food storage..get your self a couple plastic bins with lids from Wally World. Cut back on a lot of the fresh stuff. Buy it for consumption in 3 days. Fresher food that way. Nothing worse than nasty food..or throwing food away. Get yourself some vitamins.

Depending on the company (?) their terminals might have laundry facilities. Get yourself some shower shoes.
I'm a couple of weeks into my training with Crete, and I've found I needed fewer jeans than I brought, and more socks. Underwear and shirts are working about right. If you take any meds, make sure you bring enough. If you can, you may want to switch your prescriptions to Wal-Mart so that you can refill them across the US. I've been to Wal-Mart more in the past 18 days than I have in the preceeding 18 years. Never much cared for them, but you can't beat the convenience, especially the super wal-marts.
