Default CLASS A LICENSE

new to site here and i have been learning alot from reading your post. i have a class a license for 10 years. i have no exp. driving semi and now i want to go otr . what do i need to do. do i have to go to school or can i apply and get my training while i work ? let me say why i got my license-- i was working for underground utility and need class a for the weight . i was hauling machine and 1000 tank.

Since it been 10 years a lot of companies are going to what you to go through school all over again but some may want you to take a refresher course. If you don't want to pay out-of-pocket for the school then you should look at companies that have their own school: Swift, Schneider, PAM, USA Truck, etc.

well since then i got a speeding ticket... 16 over. court date is coming up . i want to trow myself on the mercy of the court and see if they can drop 2mph.... and i got into an argument with my 16 yr old ( 6 ft 4 in 230 lb ) child and now im goin to court for that. dont know if im going to be able to drive . i was talkin to csrt about schoolin but who knows know.

keep your nose clean anything 15mph and over is a serious violation in the trucking world.
