Not the smartest thing to do if your a company truck but if you can, let the air out of your tires some, it will actually help the grip level. That is something I learned from an old timer that lives in WV. Of course you would need to pump your tires back up so you would need an air hose connected to your air compressor.

Heheh...reminds me of last week...


I was leaving the house after a few days off, and my tractor was sitting on ice...there was a bit of ice built up around the wheels, and we tried everything but could not get this thing free.

In the end, it took two 4x4s to get me out...

Minor as it was, if my friend and mother in law weren't there to pull me out...I would have had to be yanked out by a wrecker..... :lol:

um, chains come to mind...I never use mine to get into a bad situation but would certainly use them to get out of one and they're already hanging on the truck :wink:
