Me Pissed? never, and you're not really helping-- ME- I wasn't the original poster---I'm just poking and prodding to get 'experts' to help answer the OP
questions--just in case--he/she ends up between a slick rock & and another slick 'hardplace'--and trying to ask more questions that MIGHT seem like 'common' since like reflective clothing, water proof gloves, winter clothes, bunge cords(limited usefullness- if pulling box or reefer- IM0) certainly wouldn't ever need 20 of em) that might be overlooked.

Being the court jester was always a noble profession back in ancient times.

I'm glad you answered all those questions---NOTE to those O/O with nice
rigs- with fixed duel axle fenders or such---don't go to BC.
also if wondering how to apply tension to those chains on the inner tires--guess you'll need to use a side tension cable/chain--

bunge cords(limited usefullness- if pulling box or reefer- IM0) certainly wouldn't ever need 20 of em) that might be overlooked. I ran reefer for 3 years, bungees come in handy for lots of stuff. I didn't recommend 20.

Do you mean triples/doubles? Gonna assume thats it. I can get in there with my tension tool thingy (I have these technical names for many things) and tighten in a couple spots. A couple is enough if the outside is right tight.

shaking head.....ok, you and colt use triple rail duel chains- you can cover both tires with that chain. most of us southerns have basic single chains-right?( when the law requires all four tires on the same axle- you're gonna end up with chains on the Inner tires. Bunge cords, bunge spiders, side cables, side chains, are all designed to keep tension on the chains to prevent them from spinning, flinging, slinging off, even working off while cornering etc.---now the outside tires are simple to hook the bunges and cris-cross them---but the inner chain( the axle gets in the way--about all you can do is use the cable/ side chain technique to keep them on.

also, a work light will be very handy- as I've never had backup lights or a worklight on back of my sleeper that would reach the trailer tandems---where you need to install drag chains.

you're right; neither of us have any use for 24 21' bunges when pulling a box trailer- other than 4 per outside tire- to tension 3 axles with snow chains.

at the most in 8 combined years of pulling reefers---7 bunges tops.

lets see- 2 strapped to running board to hold fuel nozzles in tank when fueling
2 to tie back doors( if tie back broken)
strap down load locks
1- across cat-walk to tie down pig-tail
2- to strap up a broken brake camber(limp to shop)
or to hold up air lines keep from dragging.
tie down spare mudflap

Yep, you'd be surprised--I've seen steering wheel holders out here working with just a sleeping bag, brief case, and an ink pen to scratch the comic book. The have CDL and travel.....light.

I think I'm startin to get ya. Well the chains should fit to begin with, the bungees should be a back up, not whats keeping them tight. I don't even carry singles, we're not allowed to use em on super b's other than I think maybe a drag chain on a trailer. So I guess I'm not sure about that question!

I think thats about what I carry, maybe 8. Gotta be an even number. (I'm weird that way.)
You have to remember the only way I know how to answer questions is by experience. I'm used to running in areas where If something breaks, you might be driving 7 hours before you can get it repaired. Believe me, bungees can come in handy! Not quite as much as duct tape though! I think what I remember most using them for is friggin broken reefer doors. And them stupid side panels, fairings? on my Columbia that kept coming loose. grrr

Okay this might seem like a really stupid question but... What exactly is a "Super B" and why would it make a difference to whether or not you would need in to chain up?
