Thanks, Gman, as usual you came thru . Right now I need to really search for the right setup. Orange A , You are right Mr Gman is Da MAN.
I lived in SC for 29 years near Rawls auto auction. We have bought
a lot of car there over the years. I moved to NC in 96 and later got a dealers license and was going from Boone NC to Rawls on a weekly basis
and sometimes hauled cars everyday of the week if I bought a bunch.
Rawls was the first Auction in America to sell cars, started in 1938.
Jimmy Rawls and his wife Julianne are really good friends with my Sis
in Leesville, I caller her yesterday to see If jimmy would talk to me about
this and she said sure , he loves to talk about this sort of thing. I knew
this from being around him on a weekly basis but was a little afraid to bother him now. I would willing to haul anything , not just cars like yourself. Anyway thanks to both of you

I appreciate your vote of confidence, Orange Andy. I am always glad to help when I can. Maybe I will take you up on that steak offer one day.

You are welcome, Darin. Since you seem to like auctions, there are a number of equipment auctions across the country. You can check www.truckpaper.com under auctions. They list most of them along with the dates. You can sometimes go to their websites and see if there is something of interest.

Hey Guys , I went to the school where I got my CDL and heard Us Express,s recruiter today , they seem to be a decent company and have been on my mind for somewhile. I ran my car hauling idea by my
former instructor and he thought the smaller set up ( one ton with 4 car)
was a good idea . He did say that the ins was probably high and sometimes getting paid was a pain. Also I had applied at a local small
company last week and pretty much figured that as a newbie I would not get a second look althought the add did not specify experience , well I got a call today for an inteview. This company hauls fly ashe , dont know much about this but will find out all I can tomorrow . I am still leaning toward the car hauler business , I feel that would pay off in the long run where as a small local job may be steady but probably wont lead to much more in the future.
