Was this a recruiter, or a driver who stopped at your school to recruit?
I drove for TMC in 2005. I could gross close to $900 and be home on weekends and this was less than a year experience.
You may even be able to get weekend runs, if you want to stay out from time to time. (I never wanted to).
Good Company IMO, but now I drive a tanker daily.
