I'd say a minimum of 800 watt. Better would be a 1,500 watt.

So I guess I'd be out of luck as a Schneider driver since they have a limit on the size of inverter you can have?

Add up the wattage printed on the labels of the TV and game console - I'd be suprised if they couldn't run off a 150 watt plug in inverter from WallyMart. You could also use two of them, one plugged into the main lighter socket and one plugged into one of the bunk sockets.

With a tv, it's not the running wattage once the tv is turned on, but the wattage to actually turn it on. I had a 300watt invertor that took about 8 "restarts" on the inverter before the picture came up. Once it was up and on, it was fine.

You'll notice the same thing at home. Plug a lamp into the same socket as the tv. Turn the lamp on. Now turn on the tv. You'll see the lamp dim for a 1/2sec or so as the tube powers up.

If you have an lcd tv, that's completely different as there isn't a large tube to warm up.

Also, you can get a larger plug-in inverter. I have a 400watt (800 peak) Coleman that plugs into the cig lighter socket.

I have one of those, too - the "fine print" in the manual says you can't get full power when plugged into a lighter outlet, I seem to remember 250 watts max from the lighter socket?

Those Colemans ...SUCK !

I ran a 20 inch TV and old school DVD/VHS player off a 150/300 plug in inverter from the flying-j I lost that one and got one from wal-mart for like 35 bucks it will also run them...The coleman did but not well . And the stuff I had running off this inverter was cheap and old ,so if your running new stuff that you care about I would run them off seperate iverters so your sure they are getting propper voltage ,and you don't burn them up in a short time .

I run a 13' TV and seperate VCR on the same inverter. Plug in, 400watt continuous, 800 watt peak. The inverter handles both simultanously with no difficulties.

Not sure if the wattage is comparibale to 15" TV and PS2. Worst case two plug in inverters on two different lighter circuits.

Just because they work does not mean they are getting propper voltage .
