And where did you hear this?

Last reported, unless something changes, the "new" rules as ordered by the courts go into effect Friday, 09/14/07.

The new rules will basically be the same except:

Only 10 hours of drive time
No 34 hour reset.

No you frickin moron, that ain't right. You can drive 1 hour every three days, and you must take 36 hours in your sleeper, with no more than 15 minutes on duty in any 12-hour period.

So you come on duty Monday at 7:00 AM, take your 15 minutes, and then drive your hour. It's now 8:15 AM on Monday. You have to sit there for 36 hours. 8:15 AM Tuesday + 12 hours, so you start again at 8:15 PM on Thursday. But since it's after dark, you have to take another 36 hours, and you can start at 8:15 AM on Saturday. Now you drive your 1 hour, and....
