3 years ago is a lot different that 1 1/2 years ago.

Im just wondering if anyone knows a company that will hire me? I graduated top of my class but that doesnt count.. i know.

Ive been doing research and google to see i can find some company no luck so far..

If someone knows a company that will hire a person with dui convition over year ago please message me back or email me.. Thank You guys for your time.
The main reason most companies can't hire anyone with a Dui is because their insurance company dictates it. You may have to look at another line of work since most companies want the DUI to be at least 7 years old and some don't want one ever. You may at least have some recourse in getting your money back.
Why should he get his money back? He got a CDL... These people are starting to sound more and more like the "victims" of the Nigerian email scams. If they think that they can be a boozer and or druggie and then just hop in a truck and be a professional driver their heads are not screwed on straight. The school did not lie, they said he was "hireable", they did not set a time line nor did they guarantee that he would be hired by a trucking company. Some dirt hauler or bottom dweller outfit may hire them, that's all they really deserve anyway.
a boozer or a druggie.. i dont think so.. I ask for honest reply not for someone to try and flame someone that they nothing about.. Not to be mean or nothing I got screwed in my dui. I was at family reunion not in my car but outside in pool when my niece was using my car to get some charcol for the grill cause we ran out. I let her use the car she left the keys in the car to play some music for everyone and the cops pulled in like 10 mins later cause one of the cars was parked to close to a stop sign. they seen the car with the keys in the ignition and assumed that i ran when they pulled in. but my whole family testified that it wasnt me and that i was in the pull the whole time. The cop didnt like me is all.. he went to school with me didnt like me cause i use to date his g/f. Thats why it took me so long to get convicted. So please dont assume that everyone is a boozer or a druggie. I dont even drink unless its a very rare special occasion.

If what you are saying is true, spend a few hundred bucks to hire a lawyer to get the date amended back to '02

Its a matter of INSURANCE. No company will insure a driver with a recent DUI conviction. Is that hard to understand?????? I wont even go into the STUPIDITY of the "towel head" and "refuge(e)s" comment.

I'm not "flaming" you at all. And that was an honest reply. You may have loved the leg humping that the trucking school gave you, but what you should be interested in is the truth.. and sometimes, the truth does not fit into some people's choices.

Not to be mean or nothing I got screwed in my dui. blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
And prisons are all full of innocent people. The point is that you have a DUI.. that means DRIVING under the influence. To me people who are convicted of DUI and want to become professional drivers is no different than a person who has been convicted of molesting children wanting / demanding to go into a job in a daycare center.
If you ever wanted proof that this industry has hit bottom and is still digging, hiring people with one of even more DUI's is total proof.

If your account of the facts are true, a knowledgable attorney may be able to expunge that conviction.

Got to google and type "expunge dui" in the search window.

Some people need to get off their high horse for a while... and see how the rest of the world lives.
