Stupid Question

But if the truck has one of those plain silver turn signals, it's most likely the wrong part for the truck. I'm thinking back, and every Paccar truck I've driven (dating back to '80s models) has had the dimmer on the turn signal. I think it's stupid that the law requires us to have working high-beams anyway. High beams are useless. I probably haven't used them five times in 10 years. There's ALWAYS on-coming traffic. Even on a two-lane road in the middle of nowhere at 4:00 AM.

Part Time Dweller was right it was the kind you pull up, I thought I had tried that, but guess not. So I looked up the part on the Grote web sight. It is the Universal turn signal lift-to-dim. Thanks all for the help.
