Right Now XM and Sirius are mostly a personnel issue as to preference. Look at the program lineup and decide for yourself which you prefer.
Before I got my Sirius I was going to go with XM, but when I compared the programs, I like Sirius' programs over XM. Im hearing when (if) they merge they may go to a user choose programing, and it will be charged by the channel. That may be a positive as I only listen to about 5 of the channels on the program list.
