XM gave up NASCAR when it went to Sirrus.

Sirius is the only one with NASCAR. They have the NFL also.

Right Now XM and Sirius are mostly a personnel issue as to preference. Look at the program lineup and decide for yourself which you prefer.
Before I got my Sirius I was going to go with XM, but when I compared the programs, I like Sirius' programs over XM.
Im hearing when (if) they merge they may go to a user choose programing, and it will be charged by the channel. That may be a positive as I only listen to about 5 of the channels on the program list.

Yep, it did!! And all these questions about Nascar prompted me to look at my XM Channel directory....and it still shows Nascar on XM Channel 144... but its copyrighted 2006....so I guess its out of date... :? 8) No matter.... I just listen to other channels.... 8)

One of the options offered by Sirius is Public Radio. I really enjoy 'Car Talk' and 'Prairie Home Companion'. Sirius allows me to hear the entire program without station hopping.
