High blood pressure, Inaccurate job history on your application, not disclosing criminal or driving record history, not passing road test, not passing piss test, have a hernia, not passing physical, and the list goes on and on.

Failed drug test. Have NO alcohol until after your drug screen.
Failed physical. Usually you'll be told when the DOT physical will be, usually within the first three days of training. Don't eat anything from the evening before (fast), will help keep your blood sugars down so they won't indidcate a possibility of diabetes. When you saw your Doc you did have BP and blood sugars and proteins checked? Plus what the others said. BOL

Over and above obvious medical issues, Attitude is another one. If you go in there with a chip on your shoulder, expect them to find a way to get rid of you. If you remain pleasant and patient through all the paperwork, you'll be good to go in that arena.

Spoken Like a true recruiter. Tell him how much many he will make sitting for a dispatch or backed up against a dock for 4 hrs. OTR famous quote we are always hiring. Race to the bottom.

Karnajj isn't a recruiter; he's a driver.
Did you get lost on your way over to TTaT? Just checkin' ![]() Seriously, you're entitled to your opinions regarding local, OTR, union, etc. and more than welcome to post them here. Just keep the cynicsm at a semi-moderate level. That's all we ask. Thanks. |
