Basic Tools?

A "basic" tool kit for a driver would consist of:
1 quality 6 inch adjustable wrench 1 12-18 inch pry bar 1 hammer 1 dual chuck tire gauge able to measure up to 120 psi min. I roll duct tape 1 multi bit screw driver or a slot, phillips and a few different sized torx screw drivers. 1. Flash light with spare batteries 1. 100 foot tape measure

Always carry a spare flux capacitor, might catch something on the pre-trip that requires a new one.

Good leather gloves.
6" plastic ruler to check slack adjusters. 3/8 open end/box wrench to adjust brakes, if your company trains and qualifies you as a "Brake Inspector".
