When all else fails, you mow the lawn and cash the paychecks.
I'm not primarily motivated by money. I could make more money easily, and I choose not to. However, I have a certain minimum, and I have to do something that meets or exceeds that minimum.
Currently, I have no choices but to exceed it, or fall short by more than half, so I'm exceeding it, and putting the extra money in the bank. I don't need it, so I'm not spending it.
I'm hoping after I have enough nuts buried, maybe I can find a way to make one of my true passions pay enough to live on. I have a lot of passions, and trucking really isn't one of them. It has its moments, but I could get by on the moments, and leave all the BS behind.
