Wow, new driver getting on with that company without getting a trainer. As you know its very difficult to get on in Canada, because of the insurance companies here. Many provinces control the insurance as a monopoly so without 2 years OTR, NO, non, nein, hindi po--- insurance.
Did you take the Earning Your Wheels course? 100 hours on the road...must be...but that course costs $12,000 to $13,000... insane. I am also from Abbotsford and was going to go down to Az to Sage and take a course there...and go on the road for 6 months to a year...and then try back up here.... (I have my permanent resident card..so I can work in the USA) Take a week off work...and go for it. Hey, and where do you work so I can apply for that job and save the $4000 US for that school

well i am the only one who has ever driven a truck in my family. as far as being secure.. i've obtained several homes & 1 business from truck driving. how's that for security? but i will say one thing . most i run into are having a hard time & so many wind up bankrupt & worse off after trucking than at their ole job. thats only in my opinion because of the way the handle the business & the money.
