we are on the clock when we have to do our drug test and our dot physicals so we get paid for them. Thats the one advantage being on hourly.

I've seen UA Testing at some Truck Stops. There may be a list of which TS's offer this.
Our Company doesn't require "random" testing. Hell...we're only home about 5 days out of the month. :?

We can always schedule time for a Dentist or a Doctor visit when we need to. But we are never paid for job related test or physicals.
We also pay for our own med card physical. (mine every 2 years)

I don't mind if it gives me an extra day or two at home.

Your company could be in deep trouble. This random drug test requirement is not voluntary.

Because drivers don't demand it. They take whatever crap is given to them.

I guess I consider a "random" test as within 24 hours...or even on the spot.
Our Company does yearly UA tests as required.

As an Ambulance Driver...I can be tested...in what I would consider a "random" test. (unscheduled)
