Default Breaking a lease is expensive...

I got my final settlement from CR England today.
I owe them $6,661.

Some of the things I dispute:
They charged me for a trailer washout. It was done at the "Streakin Beacon", on the CRE charge account. Somehow I am liable for it. I turned in the trip pack with the signed receipt.

Fuel to return the truck at $2.13 per gallon. What ever happened to that "NEVER PAY MORE THAN $1.25 per gallon" BS?
AND over 700 gallons? From Dayton Ohio to Salt Lake?
Sorry, but my truck got better than 6.3mpg loaded.

$436 to pay another driver to take the truck back to SLC. Plus $100 for recovery.

There are a lot of other BS charges.
One is for a lease payment on 3/07. I turned the truck in on 3/01 as per their orders.

A termination letter costs $10...
:?

Sounds like Navajo...

Now before I get told I was wrong, look at the safety Regulations and you will read No Company are to force a Driver while Sick, and below that it will state No Company will force a Driver to drive while under the influse of substance that clogs the mind. I was fired cause I refused to drive while I was sick under Doctors care, and could not drive safely due to the medications I was on.

$436 to pay another driver to take the truck back to SLC. Plus $100 for recovery. Cheap compare what Navajo stole from me, Not take, stole. 2300 just to get the truck.

Plus a large anount for this and that. They took 3000 from my finial Check and may last months worth of pay, and sent a collections after me for another 2300. That was a Company Truck.

I got the Bill Collector to stop calling by sending them a Bill for that amount for harrassment.

It is. But I think somewhere in the 70 plus pages of the lease agreement I signed my ass away. You have to lease the Anal Ease from a separate entity at England.

I agree 110% with Rev........................No offense Spence, but you and your post can be living, breathing proof that CRE can be bad news for someone considering the Fleace program. I hope you are able to bounce back from this.

Funny, they don't tell you this on their website. Seriously, take the time and itemize all the charges and post them. I think we would all like to see just what CRE like to do to their lease drivers.
