Most LTL companies dont have recruiters, they dont need one. Saia has a very good rep. As a city driver you would work days and be paid hourly, probably around 17 to start. As a road driver you would work nites (possible layovers in a motel) and get mileage, maybe mid .40's to start? Top should be around .50/mi and $20-21. Med should be low or maybe free, 8-9 holidays, 2-3 sick days, vac days,no pension but they should have a good 401k. They are publicly traded I believe. I dont work there but these are common wages for LTL and we have our own little grapevine amongst each other. If you want to stay local its a very good job. Fill out the app and hope for a call.

In his defense I've seen both. These are the days of mergers and aquisitions. Some nites I look like the circus coming to town. UPS Freight tractor, one Overnite pup, one Motor Cargo pup. LOL.

What the hell are you smoking anyway? I said road drivers work nites.

Here's your post from another thread:
"sounds like a shady deal, 1989 yeah got 2 million miles and will break down somewhere with you in it, why not go work for a real comapny and drive a 2005 or newer, I drive a 2007 and keep busy with 4000 miles a week..... " at that rate I guess everyone would be in your way.

you know, sometimes I wonder about you..
