So you will trust your life with someone else driving? if I am not behind the wheel then the truck is not moving... Teaming takes guts i guess, I don't trust anyone with my life when it comes to truckin.

Beware, that picture is 40 years old!

But seriously, I drive a team with my father in CFI. He is 61 and I am 40. We get priority frieght here at CFI. Teams are dispatched first, given longer runs and bigger KW T-2000 trucks. It is different than being a solo driver. You need to be able to sleep good so you can do your job. I sleep with ear plugs in and that works for me. I trust my dad driving. He has 34 years on the road.

Usually the other driver in a team tries to be large and in charge. I let my father make decisions when he wants to and I stay quiet and try to get along. He is the "Senior" man and I respect that. Getting along with someone is the hard part. You live with them more than anyone else. Most teams are married folks.

If you can drive in a team, the miles come easy and the logging can be legal and you can make better money.
