Wish you all Good Luck out there. I did 13 years in the Military, got out due to medical problems, and attempted to run my own business and failed. I went to school to drive and drove 4 years till I ran my self into early retirement at the age of 38. Now at 44 I want to go back... But I would have to go for a refresher, since it been so long since I drove. I would be limited at the type of job I took, No flat beds or alot of driver unloading. Last 7 years staring at the walls have been driving me crazy....

I am not OTR yet.....hearing/reading lots of great stuff from everyone in terms of experiences, laughs, fun, tears, and super stuff on trucks, equipment & needs. All of you have been super in providing info on Teams, packing, grills, maintenance and training.

For a Newb, it becomes very confusing, like everything else in this world we all have our own experiences, needs and likes. But if ya know squat about the equipment, it becomes information overload.

As for a Newb wanting to buy a truck and talking to a sales person about this brand or that model.........hell they will sell a Newb whatever, just so they get their commission! We all know that sales persons dont give a damn about anything afterwards. I know once I have completed my training, my co-workers will share their opinions and experiences.

The reality of all of this is that trial & error becomes very expensive too. Newbies need to avoid this type of pitfalls!

Drive Safely everyone!

In due time I am, First I need to finish up something here in the Philippines, and then get back to the States. Getting some dental work done about 1/6th of the cost, and just as good or better than I can in the States.
