Evidently I am over-qualified for that position or any local job because of my CDL.

Old Dominon just hired a P&D driver who used to work at my barn who was show the door for being accident happy.
He had 5 preventables in ~ 18 months.

You may need to be more flexible with your record. I would not turn anything down if I were you. Even working in a team would be better than not working. It might even be good for you to work with someone to improve your driving skills. One other thing you may want to do is check with some of the smaller carriers. If they don't check with DAC, you may have a chance. One other thing you may consider is going with a trainer for a while, if it is offered. I understand you have 2 years experience, but it might help you to train with someone for a while. Your record says that you have 3 moving violations and/or accidents per year. If a company hires you, based upon your record, they will assume that you will have an accident or moving violation during your first year with them. I am not picking on you, just telling you how companies will look at you, at this point.

I have tried every thing you suggested .I even offered for several companies to put me with a trainer, but to no avail. I am really trying to make this work out .I would hate to think that I wasted over $4000.00 in truck driving school. And I have only had 2 moving violations .

regional trash haulers are always looking for drivers. a friend was hired who had a drug bust in company truck. not the best part of our industry, but their standards seem low.
