LOL!!! Time for a simple system/Software upgrade! Those are trackable events (name/phone matching). Especially if the system uses SSANs as your prime key (SSANs do NOT change when one relocates). Ok, I am going techie here.

Bottom Line: I am sure JBH (Any carrier) does not mind calling (harrassing) DEAD leads on the odd chance there is a change of heart.
Changes of heart arent that odd....they happen all the time. Just a few weeks ago I hired a driver from another message board. He was very anti JB Hunt. He was also very happy with his job. He was running a Toyota auto parts run. If you would have asked him a few months ago if he would drive for JB, he would have said no way. One problem with his great job came up. That company he was driving for lost the toyota account. Good news though.....JB hunt got the Toyota account. Hes now driving for us, doing the same job he was doing and he is actually making more per mile with us.

I hear you Sheep, that is why I purposely used the "change of heart" passage. I agree. It's also why the software will NEVER change

Once again, THE ONLY WAY TO BE REMOVED IS TO ASK ME NICELY, I will then put you on hold, bring this nice lady on the phone with us, she will ask you your number, and then she will take you out of our calling database.
AGAIN, I will ask you, why is that OUR responsibility? why isn't NO GOOD ENOUGH??? Then YOU can connect to the nice lady and she can take my name off the database. Seems simple enough to me. AND who asked you to put me on your database to begin with?

Once again, Im just a recruiter I dont create company policy. So really griping to me about it really doesnt do anything. I tell you what, I will work real hard for the next 10-15 years, try my hardest to become CEO of JB Hunt and then I will look into changing our number removal policy just for you. But in the mean time, saying "no" and hanging up doesnt work. Cussing me out, screaming and then hanging up doesnt work. Read again: the second you hang up the phone, your name and phone number disappears from my computer screen and I cant get it back. Therefore I couldnt have you removed even if I wanted to. If you want to be removed, you need to ask the recruiter to connect you to the removal dept. That is the ONLY way you are going to be removed. Or you can just keep saying "No" and hanging up, and we will just keep calling.

I dont know who put you in our database. More than likely it was a driver that you know. Every driver we hire is asked for leads when they are in orientation and if we hire those leads, the driver is paid 500 bucks. When offered cash like that, drivers can come up with a lot of other truck drivers names and numbers pretty quickly.
