Hi all,
D.A.C. Services, how trustworthy are they? The reason I ask, is in order to get a copy of my report, they would like to have a copy of my driver's license, and my social security card. Are they secure? Anyone have a hard time with them? Thanks in advance. Vinny

DAC / USIS is as secure as any other major credit reporting service under government regulations. So you've got nothing to worry about as far as requesting your records.
DAC is a repository of employment information from various companies. In other words, they simply store the information that the company gives them. If you have questionable things on your DAC, your first target should be the company, but you do have the ability to challenge bad reports through DAC.

When you send your request always send it "Certified, Return Receipt Requested" by the US Postal Service. You will know when it arrives and can use the information for future follow-ups if need be. It will, of course, enjoy better security than standard postal handling. If you request a receivers signature with this then your return receipt is a very good legal tool if needed later.
