JB Hunt or local mom n' pop?
#41
I was docked at an office max in Ohio ( CAN'T Rember the town) getting un loaded when a JB hunt driver squeezed in front of my truck to get to his trailer in a position to un load it at a business next to office max ...I saw him self unloading ,and while I was sitting waiting for office max to finish I asked him what he made ...He said he was on some dedicated run ..I can't rember the account...But he was home nights /weekends he said it can be rough during the summer when it's hot with the self unloading ,..but with nights /weekends off he grossed just a little over 61k lasty year .

And yes, I have a hard time filling that account during the summer months. Especially in Laredo texas. Sometimes when I get someone who wants to do that Laredo Family dollar account in july or aug, I have to keep myself from saying "are you crazy?" On the otherhand, you got to respect a hard worker like that who is willing to do what it takes to make a great paycheck.
It would be really nice of JB Hunt to buy some reefer trailers so the drivers could keep the trailer at 65 degrees.

Why do you have to be such an ass hat? Some of us are just curious as to why someone would ship styrofoam (that IS, in fact, what you said you would be hauling!!) on a flatbed, as opposed to a van or a curtainside. Okay, so the Jackrabbit misread your commemt about strapping down the load; that hardly serves as sufficient ground for calling him an imbecille. It's hardly like you are so damned smart yourself!! So far, your only actual experience as a driver has been as a student, a trainee, and as a short lived, failed Fleece Operator for CR England....all that AFTER people tried to warn you!! Look; just go get a driving job with an operation or a company who will hire you with your criminal record and your pittance of actual experience, and go drive for them. It doesn't matter who you drive for; very quickly, your true personality and attitude will show itself, and you won't last long anyway. I've seen your type come and go for many years; your attitude holds you back, guys like you bounce from one job to another, one occupation to another, always blaming someone else or something else for your failures. Dr. Norman Vincent Peale once observed that "If you give a man a choice between defending his faults, or overcoming them, he will immediately set about defending them." If that statement does not fit you like a pair of custom made shoes, then I really don't know what does. I've lived too many years, and I've seen your sorry situation play out with too many people, too many times!! You are nothing but a failure looking for your next place to happen. BTW, still busy ignoring me, I see!! :P

Nope wasn't family Dollar I'm familliar with that account as it seems every one of the large trucking companies does Family Dollar/Dollar general ...It was something else ... And he ran pretty much from PA-OH on the account ....And summer is hot in the East as it is Humid...But not 110 and humid like Laredo Tx .

And how can I ignore someone who makes it a personal vendetta to shit on every post I make? You need a kingpin shoved up your ass.

So, little boy, you've reduced yourself to a childish, nasty little shout-fest and cyber temper-tantrum, have you??? As far as trying to &h*t on every post you make, we were talking about foam and flatbeds until you called Jackrabbit an imbecile!! That was YOUR doing. As far as ME starting something with you, allow me to re-freshen your memory. Go back to your initial thread "I'm Being Trained By Politicians!!" Better yet, I'll bump it up for everyone to see!! Now, in that thread, you complained about the school that was training you to drive for CR England. My VERY FIRST post to you was simply to ask why you would want to drive for CR England in the first place!! You, in your arrogant know-it-all ignorance, told me that i had "no authority" to speak of your Hallowed Future Employer, Good Ol' Crash & Roll England. My very first post to you was friendly, and made with every intention of wanting to help you. It was in your very first reply to me that you graced everyone here at CAD with your arrogant, snotty, know-it-all-while-knowing-from-nothing attitude. So don't try to pawn your obnoxious ignorance, failings or attitude on me, or anyone else here. One meaningful contribution that you HAVE made here at CAD is to provide an EXCELLENT example of people who enter the driving profession, strike out, and blame everything else or everyone else for their failures. Peace On You!! You were the one who claimed to be ignoring me!! I just pointed out how busy you seem to stay doing it!! As for your other comment, well, it's like I said; your attitude comes blasting through, showing itself for what it really is, and it will defeat you every time!!
