Swift was successfully taken to court and sued by the company that I used to drive for.

Their policy of governing their trucks at 62mph. (which is what they used to be governed at) was driving up our repair bills because our turn signal lights and turn signal switches were wearing out prematurely!!

Only if you put your foot on the floor... they're cut back to around 62-63 miles an hour if you set the cruise control. :wink:

I think that I would go absolutely bonkers trying to drive West Texas, N.M., or Arizona at 62/63MPH., with 75MPH speed limits!!!!

I will say one thing though; those Swift Trucks could climb the side of a mountain like a spider climbing up a tile wall!!

I can say the time I spent running for Swift taught me total patience and eliminated any fragments of road rage tied to speed :lol:

My Columbia over there would pull a hill wonderfully. The only truck I've found that could out pull it was the Columbia at Arrow in my avatar... I really liked the Kitty I had under that hood! God bless the ACERT!
