Where is the WORST Truck Stop You've Been?

Why hasn't anyone mentioned the flying hook in Kansas City, has to be the worst hook in the country. Hard to get into worse to get out of, and the can needed that afor mentioned tanker of bleach. Service was poor at best and even though I was hungry the general smell of the place put me back in the truck making tracks and still hungry.

Going back to the 104 in VA on I-95, drivers will be one truckstop down for a while. The Mr. Fuel caught fire and nearly burnt down the other night.
FIRE CLOSES TRUCK STOP IN CAROLINE
An early-morning fire at Mr. Fuel in Caroline County yesterday has shut the truck stop down. No one was injured in the 2:30 a.m. fire, which appears to have started in the laundry room, said Caroline County District Fire Chief Bo Norton. The fire spread to the facility's kitchen and up into the roof. It took all six Caroline fire companies as well as an engine from Fort A.P. Hill and a ladder company from Hanover about an hour and 15 minutes to put out the blaze, Norton said. "It'll be closed for a while," he said of the gas station off Interstate 95's exit 104. "There was significant damage." The Sheriff's Office is investigating the cause of the fire. |
