Default Clearing an accident from DAC

Whats the best way to clear a 3+ year old accident from my DAC. I talked to my former Company and they told me to call USIS which I did and then USIS told me to get a copy of the DAC , which I'm waiting for... where do I go from here.. I really want to get back into trucking and am tired of being told "NO" because of that mark on the DAC... 8)

Only way I know is to dispute the report. That is assuming it is not a valid entry on your DAC. If it is a valid entry there isn't much you can do.

As far as affecting you chance of getting hired a lot depends on what type of accident it was. Plus your driving record has a lot to do with how will hire you.
