I was sent to a private home a week or so ago with stone on for a guys drive way, I said to the man I can't tip here cos of the cable he said
don't worry I keep an eye on the box as it rises, He told me it was a phone line so i agreed to his request, but I missed the power line in frontbehind tree line that he forgot to mention till I heard him shout over the sound of the engine. You've never seen anyone act so quick, what a shock.
but a lesson learned.

No - you didn't see an RV that was 14 feet high. If it was, it would have to display an OVERSIZE banner, just as any truck does.

I pulled down eletrical wires on my CDL road test.......going down a truck route that the examiner told me to. Talk about depressing. I almost quit trucking right there on the spot.

Listing for all States heights. http://www.wecamp2.com/size.html

Looks like 14 1/2 feet is the highest.

That is just how high a state will allow, not how high they are.

Noticed a few things wrong, Like, unless Calif changed it's law in the last 2 years, Motor homes could not be longer than 40 ft.... On that list it says 45 ft.

Ya, I've seen some pushing 14 ft, but they were home built or custom built, but the norm factory built is 11+ ft to just under 13 ft

While CA has a limit of 40 foot there are exceptions notice below.

(11) (A) A house car of a length of up to 45 feet when operating
on the National System of Interstate and Defense Highways or when
using those portions of federal aid primary system highways that have
been qualified by the United States Secretary of Transportation for
that use, or when using routes appropriately identified by the
Department of Transportation or local authorities, with respect to
highways under their respective jurisdictions.
(B) A house car described in subparagraph (A) may be operated on a
highway that provides reasonable access to facilities for purposes
limited to fuel, food, and lodging when that access is consistent
with the safe operation of the vehicle and when the facility is
within one road mile of identified points of ingress and egress to or
from highways specified in subparagraph (A) for use by that vehicle.

(C) As used in this paragraph and paragraph (10), "reasonable
access" means access substantially similar to that authorized for
combinations of vehicles pursuant to subdivision (c) of Section
35401.5.
