Out of all the showers the wife and I have taken out on the road we only run into one real nasty 1 it was in Ohio,also take a couple real good towels a piece we have beach towels we take.some of the T/S towels feel like sand paper when you are drying off.

Teva style sandals work great. They are also comfy for everyday wear during the summer and when going swimming.

Being in LTL I've never had to shower at a TS, but I have used communal showers in Dorms for 2 years.
