Believe me I'm not going to ignore my son. I had some words with a woman about mentors yesterday. She wanted us to put our "home city" so they can try to find (i know i know...) someone from around there. Problem is I really have no "home city" now and wanted to put where my son was (because he's who I want to be with when/if I get home time during my 6 week mentor ride and she was like no you have to put where you're from. She finally understood what I was saying. I got friends/family all over the US so I could be with family anywhere pretty much, but my son is MY family now that me and my ex broke up and he's where I want to (and will be definately once I'm solo) be everytime I get home time.
Thank you for the support, and I didn't take it as a slam. I love my son with all of my heart and he's with me in spirit (like I am with him) and nothing will keep me from him. If I have to I'll go to court of my own free will and gladly pay child support so I can get visitation. Tho my ex and I are getting along somewhat so hopefully that won't happen.

Day 2 went good, covered Air Brakes, and Combo vehicles (tho I knew what we went over because I graduated UTI having taken the Auto/Diesel/Industrial courses, and working for I-10 International here in Phoenix at the same time. The classroom part of the class is gonna be simple. I took all three practice tests and aced everyone. I've taken every practice test I can find for my CDL and I know the stuff. I have a little experience yard jockeying rigs around from workin for International. At lunch alot of people were huddled around a 1/2 axle demo (brake rig) and the instructor came over so I asked if I could explain it to them and he supervised... afterwards he pulled me aside and asked how I knew the systems already so well lol... when I told him about school and stuff he was like "well you've got one hell of a leg up here huh?" lol. Neways Imma go smoke then call it a night. Gotta get up early and I'm NOT a morning person.

Just an update. Yesterday and today we studied for the Permit test. A couple of the guys are having some issues with small parts of it so I'm holding a study group tonight in my room for an hour or so to try and help them out. So far I've aced both Air Brakes and Combo tests, and only missed two on general knowledge because my hand was goin faster than my eyes and I checked the wrong box.
I wanted to go to the DMV yesterday to get my permit instead of monday so I could hit the range asap, but gotta wait for the group. Neways just wanted to jump on for a lil bit and check in.
