I have read countless times on this board how people need to get an attorney and defend their CDL's. I ask how to find an attorney to defend the CDL I see a bunch of attorneys popping up willing to sue trucking companies and drivers but where do you find an attorney to defend an action?

I thought that maybe someone on this board may have some knowledge on where to go with this other than the yellow pages. I guess I was wrong!

Who is road law? I have never heard of them. Thanks for attempting to give some constructive advice!

You can usually find Road Law representatives in some truck stops across the country. There may be a link on the OOIDA website. www.ooida.com. You may also do an internet search and find them. I have seen them at some TA's. Your husband may have run across some of their representatives as he has traveled across the country.

The gruesome details are he took out a light pole and a tree on his first solo night out! The security guard helped him out of the parking lot but he did not tell my husband he was a security guard or else my husband would have given him the information.

My husband was shaken to say the least and he did not call it in immediately as he should have. It was around 9:00 at night and he was planning on going back in the morning to report it. He met and filled out the report after the security guard who helped him out of the parking lot called it in.

The District Attorney has know decided to file charges against my husband for Criminal Mischief in the First Degree: Failure to perform duties of a driver when property is damaged, Criminal Mischief in the second degree.

I found a list of traffic attornies in Medford and the Medford area. My friend used Dwyer, Slessinger, and Devillenue for a suit he was involved in in Medford, although it was a personal injury suit. Hope he works it out alright. Was in in the city of Medford or Jackson County? Also, where was he at when he took out the pole? Give this a look:

Also, I've heard that Larry Workman is good, here's his info. I know I've heard about him when I was in truck driving school in Medford. Good luck.
