Default Buzzing in CB and AM radio

I've just installed my CB in the 2004 Mack Granite. Once I'm accelerating and the engine is under load the CB becomes so noisy it's impossible to hear anything. Also the AM radio is acting the same way...on the weaker stations there is static also when the engine is under load. Both the radio and CB share the same fuse and therefore are on the same circuit. At idle the static buzz is not there. Is there a noise filter that is missing or is there a problem with the Mack that shows up as static? The CB and AM/FM radio have separate antennas.

Run a wire directly to the battery. Put 10 or 12 gauge wire and put a in line fuse in. If you want to keep using the CB posts that most macks come with, run the wires from the battery to them. This way you can keep it nice and neat.

I forgot, you could run the AM/FM off of that also, and that would cure that annoying wine.

I forgot to mention that. When I said run a wire, I meant positive and negative. Also, I think what he means is check your ground on your battery's and frame. Make sure they are clean, fresh, and have good connections. A bad ground is the cause of many issues.

Default Grounds

"battery's and frame". Not just, also broadcast radio and CB. "Bad grounds are the cause of many issues." Particularly static. "accelerating and the engine is under load the CB becomes so noisy it's impossible to hear anything" Big time symptom of grounds with poor integrity. BOL

And with some of these Plastic Bodies grounding seems to be a problem at times.
