Well after many post and question I have made a decision to go to the MILLIS traing program versus TMC. First day is supost to be 11/22/2006 hope it all goes well and they are as good a company as they seem.

Tom, how long did it take from time of application to getting a class date? I'm interested in Millis as well.

The best to you Tom. You've made a good choice. Hope to be there myself, in a year or so.

 

It took about two weeks if you apply over internet call to make sure they got your app. then they verify employment history then they would not tell me if i was pre hired or not then I got my forms thru mail just a little warning about some things i didn't know 1) they require 100.00 reservation fee up front which I think is to make sure once you register you show up as they only allow 6 to 7 students per class and you must pay for your own dot physical within 60 days . I dont know if the hundred dollars comes off the 500.00 they require of you to go thru thier school . which I like the thought of the 500.00 dollar deposit because then you have something invested in your training . Because personaly if some of my money is on the line I will surley give 120%. not that i wouldn't normaly but some people might not . and the 500 is normal fee I guess Because TMC was going to require that of me to . fred might know why certain companies require it and some don't and MILLIS is willing to work with you on school dates because as i said yesterday iwas going in november but after more carefull thought I ask to wait till jan. and they said no problem which I felt was good of them
