I would like some opinions as to how much the people on this post like and or dislike trucking...what are the positives and negatives as I am getting ready to persue this as a possible career change. Any info (good or bad) would be greatly appreciated.I'm still in the process of chosing a company and would also like some suggestions for this as well.I have no experience but it has always intrigued me...Thanks again.

If you like being alone most of the time, away from home and family for extended periods of time, paychecks that vary (sometimes wildly), working 100 hours and getting paid for 40, not getting enough sleep, not having a life outside of work, and dying young, you'll love trucking.
Just my opinion though, YMMV.

Just my opinion though, YMMV. To the subject: Highwayman is correct. Truck driving is an aquired lifestyle. Its either for you, or its not. Period. There is no in between. Best thing you can do is find someone you can be a rider with for about 2 weeks and see if its something you may like. Give it a shot.
