Dude I rolled over laughing when I read an advertisement in the Post news job section that had an advertisement for werner claiming an earning potential of 150 k a yr.....I've been with them for a yr and it would take me 5 yrs to gross 150k with their cpm..and short mile runs...150k ... :lol: :shock: :lol: :shock: :lol:

 

O/O earning potential of $150k isn't unheard of.

But cashflow doesn't equal profit.

Actually, I've heard of O/O that had an annual cash-flow of nearly $200k. But that's cashflow. They didn't say what it was after fuel, maintenance, insurance, etc.

 

Well yeah but the ad just says earn up to 150k per yr....And unless an o/o is running on an account like SCG at werner and getting close to 2.00 per mile ....an O/O would have to spend almost all 12 months of the yr on the rd with basically no home time to gross 150 k as you will be making about 90 cpm on average ..kids that would require roughly 165k miles per yr to gross 150k...you would need to average just shy of 3500 miles per wk x12 ,and to do this you would need to be on the road 12 months a yr...as you would need to run about 14k miles per month to gross 150 k ....if you had any worthwhile home time on any regular basis then the required miles per week and per month would rise significantly making it impossible to even gross 150k ..never mind the fantasy of actually even coming close to say 65k profit with home time....OH the DECEPTION....

"O/O's make 12-150K a year" (but how many miles are we talking?

 

if I only grossed 150k i`d be better off as a company driver.
