The call you never like to get
My Dad called me early this morning.
My Mom who had been fighting schleradema and its associated ills for several years has gone to be with the lord.

I've gotten that call a couple of times. It doesn't seem to matter if you're expecting it at some point or not, it's still hard to take.
I'm sorry at your lose, and will keep you and your family in my prayers. May she rest in peace.

Found out I didn't spell it right, but here is a link to info about it - in case anybody is interested. Handout on Health: Scleroderma Couple of days after the funeral one of my nephews called me to drop a bomb shell on me. His mom - my sister has been confirmed also as having Sclerodema.

Not having read all the info yet.... is there some benefit to getting an "early" diagnosis on your sister? How's your nephew doing? You mentioned him in an earlier thread. I hope it wasn't serious. As for that "call." Man.... I am dreading it. My Dad is in good health, but I'm not so sure about my mom. I don't think I'm ready for it. I'm REALLY sorry you've had so much of this in your life. I'll be thinking of you. REALLY sorry to hear about your mother.
