Default prayers please

Got the bad news today about my dads (liver) cancer; they are only giving weeks or a few short months left to live

This is new, unwelcomed territory for me, I have never lost anyone close to me.

I am so sorry to hear that news. I have lost all of my grandparents and many uncles and aunts. I don't know what it would do to me to lose a parent, though. I pray that you have peace through this....keeping your family in my prayers.

I hated today; we took him to the VA hospice in St.Cloud where he will remain until the end; I feel so sick about leaving him up there like that, but mom cannot care for him anymore, its way too hard. I will go up and see him as much as I can, and of course I can call him too. This just really sucks

Sorry to hear about your Dads diagnosis, and our prayers are with you and your family. Like Freebird said, try and spend as much time with him as you can! I lost my Dad in a truck accident when I was 12. I still regret all of the things that I was never able to tell him.

My condolences and prayers are with you.

I have recently lost my brother to cancer. My mother is in the final stage of schleradema, and is getting closer.
